The 2025 National Black & Latino Economic Summit
The 2025 National Black & Latino Economic Summit, presented by the National Minority Community Reinvestment Co-Operative (NMCRC), is set to take place from August 13–15 at the JW Marriott in Downtown Tampa, Florida. This pivotal event aims to address the racial wealth gap by providing actionable solutions for Black and Latino communities through affordable housing and small business ownership.
Summit Overview
The summit will feature over 80 speakers and panelists across 15+ sessions, focusing on:

Access to Capital: Strategies to secure over $3 million in funding without relying on government assistance.

Affordable Housing Development: Training on building profitable, affordable single-family housing tailored for Black and Latino-led organizations.

Small Business Growth: Insights into financing, business administration, and partnerships with Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs).

Racial Economic Inclusion: Discussions on modernizing the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and addressing disparities in banking access.

Networking Opportunities: Connect with nationwide and local banks, financial institutions, and fellow community leaders.
Thanks to corporate bank sponsors, a minimum of 200 Black & Latino-led nonprofit leaders will receive scholarships covering travel expenses and accommodations.
